  1. Oyster mushroom
  2. Milk mushrooms
  3. Wood ear mushroom
  4. Button mushroom
  5. Heat tolerate button mushroom
  6. Shitake mushroom
  7. Paddy straw mushroom

Cultivation method (Oyster Mushroom)

Commercial oyster mushroom cultivation is more prevalent in Bangladesh at present. Farmers are provided PP bags ready for production with spawn filling substrate. Farmers produce crops from these supplied bags. Produced inside these bags weighing about 500 grams-

  1. Wood powder = 84%
  2. Wheat bran = 32%
  3. Rice bran = 4%

A small amount of lime and water is added to the mixture. The packets should be arranged in rows of wood and bamboo in the bamboo fence with straw cultivation and paved floor.

Then you have to cut off the cut part of the crescent on both sides of the bag.

After washing, the bag should be soaked in clean water for 21-30 minutes.

The bag should then be turned over on a clean floor or wire mesh for half an hour to allow excess water to drain inside.

The bags should be placed in a row on a wooden back or bamboo platform in the farm.

If the outside temperature is low, cover the bag with polythene and keep it for 2/3 days to increase the temperature inside the bag. At this time the humidity is 80% and the temperature is 25-30°C. It needs to happen. With ideas-

Water should be sprayed regularly in the bags.

If polythene is called 3/4 times 10-15 m. Time to remove the call and arrange for ventilation.

After 2/3 days, a white pin-like part can be seen with the cut part of the bag. If the mushrooms are big after 2/3 days, they should be collected.

If you spray water from the other side in the same way , new mushrooms will be produced.

A mushroom bag can be harvested 3/4 times.

Suppression of insects and diseases

Outbreaks of flies can occur in mushrooms. Malathion (0.1%) can be sprayed for this purpose . In addition, soaking cotton in formaldehyde (4%) and rubbing it on sunstroke will remove greenish brown or blue mold.
