You can grow dragon fruit in your roof garden in earthen tubs or drums. But it is best if you choose a 20-inch drum. This is because the seedlings will be able to germinate well in this size drum and the yield will be much better.

What kind of soil is needed

Although dragon fruit can be easily cultivated in almost all types of soils. But if you want a good yield, you must choose sandy loam soils rich in excellent organic matter. At the beginning you have to collect sandy loam soil and clean it well. Then mix the amount of dung, 50 g of potash fertilizer and 50 g of T, S, P, fertilizer well with the collected soil. Soak a mixture of manure and soil with water. Now leave all the ingredients in your chosen drum for 10 to 12 days. Then grind the soil of the drum well and leave it for another 4 to 5 days. When the soil becomes a little dry, plant good quality cut seedlings in drums or containers.

Since the stalks of the dragon tree are like vines, they should be tied to the poles with the light growth of the tree so that the tree does not fall down easily.
